Why bother with a stamp if you are delivering it personally? In my family, if there is a birthday gathering, we all deliver cards by hand. No one thinks it is “cheap” to do so. We also deliver other cards by hand. The only ones that get stamps on them are the ones too far away to walk to.

The stamp, unmetered by the Post Office, is Dale’s present! All Dale has to do is cut out the stamp and glue it to one of his envelopes.
