That is a major purchase, not to be entered into lightly. Much investigation in performance, durability, warranty, is needed , and then there’s the matter of making an offer. This is not a task for amateurs. Joy and Burl don’t take the purchasing of a new dish strainer lightly.

Don’t be irresponsible and neglect to compare prices and features at Walmart. A local hardware store, or two, may have other few options. Then, there are days worth of videos for DIY solutions. This could take awhile. Better put it on your kitchen To-Do whiteboard.

Bid for one at an online auction. It could be new surplus, used, reconditioned, repaired exchanged, abused, or dead.

Maybe they went to the dollar store instead of kmart

I often see old couples shopping together in the grocery store. Neither one looks like they are having fun.

Joy, that’s too hard a decision to make all by yourself…
