If Burl wasn’t as dumb as a brick, he would tell the pilot that his wife’s condition is that she’s dumb as a brick.

It kind of works on a dolt to dolt level. Once at cruise, they’ll quit accelerating, and she’ll believe they slowed down. Acceleration acts directly on mass, so it hits this bunch pretty hard. (But I have reservations about that particular plane. Looks like it was built by the boilermakers’ union.)

…gonna need a bigger jet…maybe a C-17 Globemaster 3?

VFD. I am wondering what Verla’s middle name is. Verla Frances Darwin? Flora? Fauna? Freaky?

Read some online postings from medical personnel about conversation they’ve had with (conscious, supposedly-sentient) patients. Made me a believer in this bunch.
