So it appears these “awful road conditions” are being created by the truck itself… Burl & company are probably 10 miles past their turn into The Golden Coral and will wind up at McDonald’s instead… Poor Patty…!
Many moons ago I was in a similar situation on the interstate where it had snowed a dusting, the plow was out, kicking up a mini blizzard, no one was passing, so I took off, safely passed, and the road was perfectly fine!

I saw 3 cars go off the road in a snow storm because 2 cars were following the lead car who went off the road.
