    And if by some chance it’s not broken, chase it all over the place until it is lodged under the couch.

    We had a small, working bell that we’d place on a bottom branch of our tree for our cat to play with. Of course, he never did.

    My cats would love to attack a tree. I don’t put one up so I’ll have to take them to Mom and dad’s house. Of course they had to downsize to a 4’ tree and put it on a table. They got a Great Dame and his tail takes out everything below 36". If I throw the ball in the house he even hits his head on the ceiling. It would be fun to watch the cats run up the tree and have him chase the ornaments.

    Had a great day yesterday at my daughter’s for her 41st and great-granddaughter’s 2nd. Good food, lots of laughs and a great time was had by all.

    Back in the 1980s we had a little stuffed bear that went on the tree. The cats, Buckwheat, Misty and Spuds, like to bat it off. We kept putting it higher and higher, Then we wised up and just gave it to them to play with.

    When we got our two pound kitties, I made them a lovely climbing gym. Never touched it. There are too many more interesting things to climb at our house. We had to strip all the ornaments off the tree and replace them with plastic. Bat, bat, ksshh. Bat, bat, ksshh, etc.

    My two boys were very helpful for their first Christmas tree decorating, they followed Jack’s last two instructions very closely. I didn’t put all my decorations on but most of what went on has hit the floor at least once since then :-)

    So far my guys show zero interest in the new, table size decorated tree. Sigh…it won’t last.

    Decorated our tree tonight. The only thing our cats were interested in was the paper grocery bag I had placed some decorations in from last year. I tossed it on the floor after taking out what was in there to put on the tree. It was hilarious! They acted like they were attacking some mouse or critter!

    NOREEN KLOSE my son works near Philly and lives near Bensalem. Great weather we have been having here, huh? Although, it is supposed to get into the 30’s daytime, this weekend! Figures, my youngest son bought tickets for my BD Christmas present for the Broncos/Steelers game this Sunday, a night game! He paid enough, we are 4 rows behind the Denver bench. We are hoping Peyton Manning is back to good health and will be playing. That is why we are going! God love him, that was such a sweet gift to me!

    HOPE YOU SEE THIS FELLOW PENNSYLVANIAN!

    One year, we decided to put an animated Christmas Winnie the Pooh decoration under the tree. It had a Santa hat on and moved it’s arms up and down. Sheba came out, looked at it, and her fur stood on end. She carefully walked behind it , smacked it on the back of the head with her paw and then ran like heck back to the bedroom. We just packed it back up and it’s been in the attic ever since. It was funny though. >^..^<

    @Dry and Dusty*

    I hope you have a really great time at the game.I hope the weather behaves so you can enjoy it. *

    I hear we may be getting out of the dark ages soon. I heard that we may soon be able to buy wine/beer at the grocery store like all the other civilized states that DON’T have the LCB. I would really appreciate picking something up to go with dinner while I’m picking up the ingredients for my dinner.
