That’s not 3D, it’s a homeless man who was killed so everyone thinks it’s 3D. The tattoo will be found to be the exact same one as 3D has and was applied after his death. place your bets now! If i’m right I want a job!

Once again the spam (this from popo13) shows better writing than what DT offers. It flows, has a good pace, and makes a point. I rewarded it with a Flag.

Compare today’s and yesterday’s third panels. Yesterday the body’s feet are covered; today they’re uncovered. Unless the morgue attendant wanted to show off the feet to Tracy, I think I see another example of DT discontinuity.

Anja Nu had anti-gravity bracelets. Apparently this corpse has an anti-gravity body tag. Or maybe the smell is giving it a lift…

So who is SimonPenn? I still suspect it’s a gag. Interesting tidbit: his screen name is an anagram of “P*nis N. Nom” – or Dick With No Name.

I’m not a fan of Cathy – ACK!! – but just saw the announcement the artist is calling it quits.

Here at GoComics the Cathy strip clocks in at 28257 subscribers. The article linked above says Cathy is carried in around 700 newspapers.

Good riddance to Cathy. That strip sucks about as much as Garfield does. Next I’m rooting for the end of For Better or For Worse, but I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen.

Looks like he died of big toe strangulation. Somebody tied the toe tag on too tight. (Too much alliteration for so early in the AM. Sorry.)

Flight Suit–FBoFW ended a few years ago; it’s in reruns now (as I expect “Classic Cathy” will also be). For a time the artist was re-drawing early strips, but even that’s stopped of late.

FlightSuit - Although I disagree about Garfield, one of my favorites, I certainly concur about Cathy and FBOFW. Good riddance to Cathy, one of the sorriest comics ever made. Now maybe Momma will be cancelled and the world will be a better place.

Yes. It also travels back and forth along the track that was there yesterday. The lighting sequence is ‘M’ ‘O’ ‘R’ ‘G’ ‘U’ ‘E’ then “M’ ‘MO’ ‘MOR’ ‘MORG’ ‘MORGU’ ‘MORGUE’ then ‘MORGUE’ flashes three times and the sequence begins again! It helps Tracy find it when he needs to go there.

odd that the time of death can be pinpointed so accurately but not how 3d died. spacy and the gang did not even know about 3d’s disappearance until they read about it in the newspaper, so they really don’t know exactly when he disappeared.

The coroner is as dumb as DT. The body was found with the head under water (see 09Aug). “Obviously” it was a drowning…

I like Dick Tracy and have been ‘making fun’ of it for over 50 years. It remains one of my favorites.

Cathy gets a little old, i.e., diets, swimsuits, etc. But I still enjoy it except when the print is too small to read. I can always identify with FBOB. It’s exaggerated of course. Real everyday life would be boring in the comics or any fictional work. In real life, we couldn’t take excitement all the time.

That should be FBOW. No marriage is all better.
