@NozziAmong other things (omelets) I like to make grilled ham and cheese sandwiches using both a toaster oven and a microwave.Toat the bread and grill the ham in the oven then assemble the sandwich with the cheese and heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds or so to get the cheese melted just right.Of course this pre-suppoes that you have at least a toaster oven. If you use to a wire rack in the oven of your wood burning stove then an electric toaster would be pretty amazing.

Design it so the toast comes out with a dark brown silhouette of Jesus or the Virgin Mary. Frame the toast and sell each slice for $100.
