Speaking in Public is just about the most popular phobia that humanity has.
I wish I’d taken Speech and/or Debate in High School. I have had need of it many, many times!_____________________________
I’d always been good at public speaking. The only reason I took the class was a good friend of mine desperately needed to take it and needed someone she could trust in the class with her so she begged me to take it with her.
My older daughter is also a gifted public speaker. She’s already been invited to join Toastmasters when she turns 16. Speaking in public is one of her favorite things to do, believe it or not. My father was a WONDERFUL public speaker; he was city Alderman-At-Large, and I remember seeing him address the city council.
Funny thing: I have to speak in front of our entire church congregation this morning! I’m actually kind of looking forward to it.

-Well, you were right, Peekaboo, but what exactly did you just accomplish besides getting yourself dumped in the snow?
