Nobody, but nobody gets to Elvis’s baby! Extra skritches for you sweetie!

We had a house full of “stink bugs” this summer. The deck was full, the screen door was full, the floor, windows and counters in the house had more than their share. Now we find a few hiding behind pictures or furniture. They all get a ride in a paper towel to the trash basket.The PNW was inundated with them!

No. Savor the summer.

Georgia mentioned one of the small advantages of the moving break she is taking in real life, is that the hiatus will allow the web comic and Gocomics to get closer to syncing up. Her goal is to have GC current. Not that it really matters, but I thought having 4 BCNs to read each week was delightful. The 6 month lag was just long enough to make the reruns on GC fresh enough to savor all over again.

Cats definitely have the “not in my house!” attitude.

Elvis did say, when the Baby arrived home, that NO ONE was getting past him — once he decided the Baby was keeper, of course. Way to GO, Elvis!!

None of my cats were ever afraid of June bugs – they saw them as a free treat. If there’s a more disturbing sound than a cat chewing up a June bug, I don’t know what it is…

Somehow, moths were getting into our living room at night, and the cat would have a good ol’ time chasing them around. Once, she batted a moth into a jar and poked her head and paws in to dig him out. The cutest thing ever.
