Not a skull, but a rabbits foot. Those things used to creep me out. Felt like fur over wood. Don’t know why they were considered lucky (not for the rabbit!)

Somewhere The Bard of Avon is quietly chuckling at the universality of his play. If you don’t believe me, I got him to co-sign this comment.

“What wind through yonder window breaks?”

“A hare, a hare. My kingdom for a hare!”

    “Prick up thy bunny ears.”

    “Fursooth!”

“But I am put to paws.”

(I recognize the wrestler, if no one else does, Sheik.)

I guess it’s just a sine of the times, Sheik. Kind of like the new Victoria’s Secret Algae Bra.

The bunny lied. It did make people think. It sent folks on a tangent.

Uh Oh! What censored strip put Pab into Bunny Mode?

Sheik, that’s not really Shakespear’s signature – its misspelled!

SY of all your interesting comments that one tops! So witty. As for spelling WS himself used variants. English was percolating during his day and spelling was a matter of individual taste - as it is now in internet communications.
