2,300 pages, why are all the “righties” lengthening it? As if it isn’t bad enough to have such a monstrous bill- they keep broadening it by adding their own BS?
Let’s see, at other posts and toons, you have the Conservatives sceaming that it is too big, that it will hamper business, that it will cause business to leave America, and here you have a toon that says that “It’s not big and strong enough!” I will never understand Conservatives – well that’s not true, all you have to know is that if Obama and the DEMS did it then they are against it, even if it helps the Country.
If it were a bull market, we might not be so concerned.
I love the idea that, if a law is well-considered and written to cover most of the bases, it’s “too long.” I also like the “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” mythology the right wing sells its Tea Party proles, that Senators sit around writing bills, reading them and voting on them. Hint, folks: They have staff members. Lots of them. Very smart people who write bills and read them and explain them to the Senators. And they could explain them to you, if you didn’t prefer to get your explanations from liars with chalkboards.
