Gracie, time to study up on Color Theory…

Gracie, go and buy the color scales to match the right color.

Green and yellow are opposites on the light color wheel (or ask any TV engineer - yellow and green are 180 degrees opposite). Mixing pigments are subtractive, though, not additive. I think it’s blue and red, but don’t quote me…

She IS smart, but she can also be stubborn…

Green and yellow are not opposites on the light color wheel. They are right next to each other in both color wheels. Also, green is a primary color in the light color wheel, so there is no way to mix colors to get green in the light color wheel. Gracie just marches to the beat of her own drummer.

Okay, now I do know about mixing paints. Mixing colored lights, not so much, so I don’t know how those work exactly. But when it comes to paint… Primary colors are: Red, yellow & blue Secondary colors are: Orange, green & purple(or violet). Opposite pairs: Red & green, yellow & purple, blue & orange. White & Black are tints.

Primary printer colors are cyan, yellow, and magenta.

LIGHT

Red. green and blue. Or in computer monitors and TV’s it’s RGB.

For heaven’s sake! I am NOT Joe Doty! I’ve been here for months, and not just since he disappeared. I’ve even been attacked by the man. I am a straight FEMALE even.

Just because I am known by my family as a “Font of Useless Knowledge” doesn’t mean that I am suddenly a gay man from Tulsa.

Why do people use this as a forum to flount their knowledge? We know all about colors. Just read the strip, appreciate the humor in it, and move on!
