The best time of a vacation for me is actually before it begins, the final hour before I leave work. Right then is the farthest away from going back. By the time I get relaxed on vacation, it’s almost over. The final day is the worst.
Vacations really should be at least two weeks, preferably more (though I personally will never get anything that long). But that’s how long it takes to really, truly wind down and forget all about that hectic life you had/have “back there.” Takes that long to really let it go and just “be” for a while.
