Sad news today, fans. After a long, uninterrupted run, today’s strip features the final appearance of Moby Dick. The Great White Whale has, as you know, been the backdrop against which the Finalists have been waving goodbye, but now he’ll be moving on to appear in a French graphic novel. For the next week or so, there will be a simple paper dropsheet used until the vacancy can be properly filled by another giant white creature too large to be clearly identifible. An albino giraffe is under consideration, but his credentials are still being scrutinized for possible irregularities. We’ll keep you posted.
The glacier that was the next scheduled guest backdrop calved an iceberg bigger than Delaware. The next flow is scheduled to be by within the next century.

I just got word that an albino yeti will fill in. Please watch your feet for white hairballs.
