Yes, they would cut something as important as a library. I saw it happen 10 years ago.

Well get out and vote folks while we still have a free country! Get rid of the trash in congress and we may still have a chance for freedom…..

looks like somebody wants their country back…..let’s make it easy to understand …..

    democrats — evil , bad , freedom-stealing, socialists

republicans– good, honest, caring, gun-toting, god fearing saints

well, let’s just wave our flag, and load our gun and water the tree of liberty with the blood of those OTHERS, who have stolen your country from you

    right?

Repacing the ‘bots’ won’t change the game. Money talks louder than campaign speak.

Right on, OLDDOG82! I think you’ve put your finger on it.

It doesn’t matter who’s in office; there will always be people just waiting for the magic day when the administration changes and everything will be just peachy then. I suppose it’s easier than getting out and trying to contact or petition the people already in office.

@ jen355. Nothing is easier than sitting on your bum and hoping that all the bad things will happen to someone else. It’s like public transport; it’s the sort of thing people want to see improved so other people will use it.

we were on a long steeply upswinging economy. bubbles always bust sooner or later. none of these politicians you all want to hold accountable would have been elected if they had legislated to deflate the bubble while it was still growing.

Can only speak for myself - it’s not a case of holding them accountable after the event. I vote for them to be responsible to detect and do their best to prevent the event in the first place.
