I suppose it was inevitable that this strip finally recognised the existence of ATMs, robots and drones.

Shoe is a newspaper editor, and yet his grammar is atrocious. He clearly said that the automatic teller made the getaway. So did the robot robber get left behind, or did the ATM suffer Stockholm Syndrome? (Or, in this case, Syndrone?)

I reread my stuff to make sure I am clear who I am talking about if there are multiple subjects. I find I make the same mistake as Shoe.

@finnishbsnist I’d say the robot was a which rather than a who, at least until robots are legislated to be people.

I actually enjoyed The Getaway with McQueen and MacGraw…

Bet the whole thing was scripted.
