My older brother was the last one of the siblings to get a computer. During his time without, I asked him why he didn’t have one. “You know how it goes,” he said, “as soon as you buy one, it’s already obsolete, there’s always something bigger and better.” “You work for Intel!” I screamed, “You of all people should know better than all of us that that’s how it goes! You’ll never get a computer at that rate!” He broke down and bought one after the next Intel chip release.
