As for cooking…. oh yeah. Can’t afford to eat out much; don’t like most prepared food…don’t eat much salt; need piles of vegetables…All of that means I cook…. and mostly from scratch. No big deal!Sometimes it’s about as easy as opening a package.
I cook all the time, learned at my mom’s knees when I was just a wee laddie, by the time I was 15 I started planning the meals. Tried to pass the joy onto my youngin’s but it didn’t really catch on.
@Tony, unfortunately I DO cook – very well thank you. But a lot of days I wish I had never learned how. Those days I envy people who can’t even boil water. THank goodness hubby can cook pretty well himself, so the second string comes in in a pinch.
I love to cook, and bless him, Hubby loves to eat. Eldest daughter once brought us some store-bought bread to feed the fish, and it sat on the counter for a week with no obvious ill-effects. Decided then to make all of our own bread.
Good one JPW, lately I have been binge-watching Joss Wheddon shows, one the last season of BTVS, Angel, & halfway through the first season of Dollhouse.
Yes I cook (very well, ahem) because nobody seems to have gluten free items on the menu. (I know, I’m a minority)We do have a few places, but how much fried fish or soup can I eat? SighNope, don’t binge watch, its all I can do to watch it on the day it airs. And I watch weird things and they aren’t “binge” watchable.
efine binge-watch. Is watching one DVD of 2.5 to 3.5 hours of content binge watching?
I’ve got collections of shows ranging from Alfred Hitchcock presents to As Time Goes By to MTM & Newhart to the Twilight Zone and X-Files on DVD. I don’t have to watch anything currently on the tube now if I don’t want to. And I don’t.
I agree with Grog, there is precious little on TV right now that I enjoy watching, unfortunately I don’t have a large collection of discs. Instead I bought a Roku and downloaded a number of stations that show older programs, once I am done with my Joss Wheddon fix I will start in on the old movie serials from the ’30s and ’40s.
I like to cook. I hate to do dishes and don’t have a dishwasher. I usually cook enough to have leftovers or even freeze. I’m making soup on Saturday and should get plenty for the freezer.

Every single day.

@Tony As a mom I’d cook all the time, it’s very good if I do say so myself but I doubt it would be up to Chef Ramsay’s standards.

We try to binge watch NCIS after I put little man to bed, but the Hubby usually doesn’t last more than 2 episodes.

What does “binge-watch” mean? I checked TV Guide and I don’t see the program anywhere!
Is it something like Wheel of Fortune?
