I had the opposite problem when I was in college, I had one assignment where the teacher gave us several options for the essay, one option was to write a 3 page shortstory using elements of a mythology (it was a mythology class). My story ended up being about 10 pages and used elements of Norse mythology where an army hero met up with a valyrie who tried to claim him for Valhalla. Fortunately the professor enjoyed the story and didn’t have a problem with me going over the page limit and I ended up with an A for the essay.

When you had an essay that had a specific word minimum, “very” becomes your best friend.

Not sure the kids today would understand Animal Farm, don’t think they know much about non-Islamic totalitarian regimes.

Knowing Peter, he’ll actually finish the essay at 3 in the morning the day that it’s due.

Animal Farm was an allegory to the Soviet Union and Stalinism. It was a childrens’ version of 1984.

Noteworthy is that he apparently has to look at the book just to remember who the author is.

Allegory it’s a thing that represents a quality. For example, lion represents courage. Sheep represents stupidity. And fox represents artfulness.
