My shih tzu will pose for pictures. I get the camera out, aim it at her, call her name, she looks at me, promptly sits down, tilts her head just so and waits for the flash! Of course she has had her pic taken many many times since she was just a tiny fluffy ball.
I can only take pictures of my cats when they’re asleep (which is often). Otherwise, they never hold still long enough. When they were kittens, I used to try more, only to discover that they’d walk right up and shove their faces in the lens, which isn’t much better.
My dog does that. Normally, he’s pretty well behaved, and sits when I tell him to do so. But let me get down on the floor, and he wants to come sit in my lap – all 75 pounds of him – so he can “Help” with the camera.
One of my cats gets jealous when I take pictures that do not include her. I’ll try to take pictures of birds or falling snow through the window and she follows me and tries to get in front of the camera.
Obviously somebody with deleting capabilities didn’t like my comment yesterday about shucking clothes and a dalliance. Typical liberal attitude, if it doesn’t meet with their wants or needs then it doesn’t merit publication.

Another thing you cannot make a cat do: Pose for photos.

Luv, sometimes you can, but not in that kind of situation…..In the right situations, cats and even dogs can ham it up for the camera…..They know…..

Thank god for digital cameras. Most of my 1000 pictures are of my cats with eyes shut or looking away

There’s nothing like a Great Dane face 2 inches from the camera to make for a wonderful photo … not.

I wish we saw as much of Gene and his family as we see of the cat.

The second panel really underscores that idea. Luddy’s eyes are big!
