Wizard of Id by Parker and Hart for February 18, 2016

I’ve been ‘married’ to mine for two years, so this one was rather funny. Actually a shopping expedition through a big box to seriously load the car will give you your mile goals… and makes you take stairs if you buy the right kind (that and a doctor’s orders-no lying anymore about your exercise!) Oh, yes, I abuse Amazon Prime too, best thing ever!

Oh the irony

I would much rather go to the store and look around.In good weather I ride my bicycle if it’s a 15 mile (24km) round tripor less. So far this winter I only gained 4 to 5 pounds (2kg).

Since when is Twitter delivering Amazon parcels?

For those that don’t like the artwork, gocomics also has wizard of Id classics from the 60’s. The art back then was very different from what it later became. The art has already notably improved since the new artist’s first drawings, and I see no problem with it.

I don’t do mail order, huge pain when they don’t deliver as promised, nor on time as promised or its defective. Big box stores are way easier to return that way.

I do however on occasion buy online but I have a 80% ratio of something being defective, not as advertise or other issues. Usually late, I did order something last week, Saturday I got an email stating it was shipped, but the tracking number from UPS said it didn’t actually go out until Wednesday this week, so much for 3 to 5 days shipping from order date.

And when you do go to the exercise gym, be sure to get a parking place as close to the door as possible. Wouldn’t want to waste energy walking farther than necessary.
