OK, we all know Peter can be immature, and a bit of a goofball…But now I’m having some serious doubts about Peggy.
Maybe there’s a reason these two attracted each other.
How the heck would you get a bowl of glue?
I hate to nitpick cartoons…. I totally believe in comedic license…..But I have to say I’ve never seen glue in a container that makes it look anything like something you’d pour into a bowl and eat.
So…. did he somehow mistake a big squeeze bottle of Elmer’s Glue, or maybe a can of carpet adhesive, for food?Did she notice but not tell him?Or worse…. did she purposely bring him a bowl of glue?
If any of those answers are “yes”…at least one of them needs one kind or another of custodial care!
blush Thanks for asking, Tony….I mean, I’d like it if anyone ever thought I looked even a little bit spicy….but sigh…. you can probably tell….I’m really pretty mild…(giggle…)
Ah….. Tony and Bev…OK….. that makes sense, I guess. He saw the bowl of paste on the table, and came back with a bowl of chips, to seize the opportunity.Sounds about right.
But Bev…. what is this “share” of which you speak?
Capt mutt….dunno for sure about Tony and Gary, but cartoonists usually don’t color their own dailies…. only Sundays.
Most comics on this site are filled in on weekdays by colorists hired by their syndicators…. usually UClick or Creators.
Some colorists do several comics…. but get only an hour’s pay per title to color a whole week (except for Sunday). So they may not even get time to read the strips. That’s why you sometimes see a red sweater when the characters are talking about a blue one, or one bare arm accidentally colored as a sleeve…and it could be why something meant to be glue was colored green.
Most of the time I am rather mild but I do have my spicy moments. I was thinking the decoupage thing. Some people (Peter) will just eat something because it is there.

I prefer my glue mild. Most other dipping sauces, certainly spicy.

I’ve sniffed glue on occasion, but I’ve never eaten it.
