Zonker: I appreciate your calling, Mike. Mike: Not at all, Z. I know how fond you were of Duke... Listen, why don't you join us tonight, okay? JJ's opening her lavatory show down here at Club Stop 'N' Bop. Zonker: A downtown show already? Not bad for a sweet, pony-tailed watercolorist! Mike: Yes, I suppose that's true... Unfortunately, she's now a spike-haired albino environmental designer. J.J.: Ready? Let's blow.

J.J. started out so nice and became so obnoxious. In theory, I respect the idea of giving your all for your art, but J.J. seemed to lose who she was in the process. It was really less about the art than what the art world would respect and praise. The ‘Pay Attention to Me Pay attention to Me Pay Attention to Me No Matter for What’ attitude of a 3 year old that is so prevalent in our society. Maybe that’s part of what Trudeau was critiquing.
