Wow! Dick Locher is coming up with new character looks. The last time he had to come up with one, he drew a Blank. :)

Not only new character looks, but also innovative new ways of holding a phone!

I think that if Sue was to let her hair grow, she would eventually have hair mandibles to rival Karen Ennen’s!

Tracy and Doko are holding the phones weirdly because they are the new 9-digit key phones. You can’t use them to call the operator. Saves AT&T a lot of money.

In panel 2 why are there three gallows in front of the building is there going to be a public hanging ?

Uhmm…maybe a new artist??? The artwork is good, and different.

Not only did Sue Doko not notice the headlines in the paper, but she didn’t even question why her boss wasn’t showing up at the office…

So now we know Locher likes for his Asian chicks to be sultry, with pouting Angelina Jolie lips.

Wow…she’s got her initials tattooed on her ears it appears, and what’s up with that hair??? Is she an alien or a new breed of vampire?

Sue is on a cell phone, in her office. How did DT get the number? From Mrs. D? Perhaps Mrs. D, 3D and SD where having a threesome and exchanged cell numbers, among other things.

Asian-African? Or African-Asian?

I shudder to imagine Locher’s notes to the colorist…

Did anyone else notice that in panel 2 SD seems to be in an office down town but in panel 3 there is a factory outside her window or maybe she is a great lover of industrial art?

Colorist please take note that Character in Panel three is a Black - Asian albino with pink hair wearing a chartreuse turtleneck sweater….

FlightSuit was curious yesterday on how Locher would draw an Asian character. He does it periodically, China is the only country where newspapers ‘pick up’ the strip. Then to please them all the hero types take on Oriental Eyes.
