Is it one of the Bunny-Wunnies books? Miss Helen Sweetstory would be so happy if Snoopy got a Bunny-Wunnies book. maybe its The Six Bunny-Wunnies Make Cookies.

Was kinda expecting an Easter Beagle strip.

Could it be Beatrix Potter’s “Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny”?

Speaking about scary snakes, when I was about to install some ceiling track lighting I needed some assembly of it done on the floor first. The cat had a very strange reaction to the long thin inanimate fixture just lying there.

I’ll check the Peanuts Wiki in a few minutes. Right now I have something more important to check on, heating oil.

Ok, heating oil checked and discovered needed to put a little water in the furnace. So time to check the wiki. And the Peanuts Wiki puts Snoopy as the Easter Bunny at April 14, 1968 which would later develop into the the Easter Beagle. If this is a ‘69 strip then we’re past the Easter Bunny strip. But the Easter Beagle by name first appeared was April 11, 1971.

BUT beagles were especially bred to find rabbits and larger hares! Snoopy, you’re breaking your ancestors’ hearts by liking bunnies!

Snoopy really loves bunnies. Quite cute considering beagles were bred to be hunting dogs.
