I used to book reservations for a set of condos in Maui. We’d answer the phone with “Aloha.” Sometimes people would ask how the weather was, and I’d look out the window and say that there was snow on the mountains..I want to take one of those B. Kliban tours. Oh, the places I’d go.
The big island isn’t quite as touristy, but there are a lot of folks “out of doors”. But I guess that if one has to be homeless and wandering, that’s a pretty nice place (weather-wise) to be so.

No one goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.

I was a founding member of the Sedona Yacht & Harbor Club. It was a lot less congested – even for our annual regatta !

This is why Maui is the only Hawaiian island I haven’t visited. (Well, Oahu either.)

Today’s guest artist on pencils is Hieronymus Bosch with inks by B. Kliban (note the sly signature).
