Enjoy this classic Tom the dancing bug Vintage 1995 Now that Congress has finally recognized the crushing need and burning desire for the amendment of the constitution to allow laws banning the desecration of the american flag, we can expect following additional amendments, truly deserving robe placed beside the bill of rights ad the emancipation proclamation as pieces of timeless wisdom comprising the cornerstone of democratic philosophy. Amendment XXIX: The congress and the states have the power to prohibit the use of profanity in Patriotic Entertainment Parks. Man: Our soldiers did not shed their blood so that some punk could flip the bird at a souvenir camera in the American Adventure Pavillion at Epcot Center! Amendent XXX: The congress and the states have the power to prohibit the use of US currency in recreational or wagering contests. MAN: Shall we have bills bearing the likeness of our revered first president sullied by the playing of "Dollar Poker" in tawdry bars?!! Amendement XXX1: the Congress and the states shall have the power to prohibit the utterance of any modification of a patriotic song or pledge. Man: Allow me to read from the shocking transcript of a song overheard being sung by a third grader: "This land is my land, this land aint your land, Ive got a pop gun and you don't got one" Amendment XXX11: The congress and the states have the power to prohibit the intentional misspelling of American military ranks for commercial purposes. Man: how many american captain have to lose their lives defending our nation before we ban abominations like this?!

Glad to see Congress is finally doing something. Keeps them busy and out of trouble.

What constitutes (or “Constitutes”) “desecration”?.Such an Amendment would never be ratified, since it would stifle the massive industry of US-Chinese joint ventures that produce American flag-themed clothing for “patriots” and (especially) tourists.

I imagine they would have just changed the flag code to allow that, if this amendment had passed and not been found unconstitutional.

Don’t forget Amendment XXXIII which codifies the sanctity of bathrooms by gender identification. Amendment XXXIV, which protects the sanctity of churches by allowing open carry. Praise God and pass the ammunition.

The intentions of the Founding Fathers was explicitly clear. That is why every rendering and painting of their assemblages shows each one packing a musket everywhere they went.

the guy in the roller coaster in panel 1 appears to be on Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, not the American Adventure at EPCOT. The American Adventure is the LEAST exciting ride in all of the Dizney parks worldwide. I made my kids go on it for educational purposes, and they hate me for it.
