By all means, it pays to be a savvy customer. Do the math, ask questions, before signing anything.

The one to watch out for is MacHeath Loans.

Oh, the shark has pretty teeth, dear, and he shows them pearly white. Just a jack-knife has MacHeath, dear, and he keeps it out of sight. When the shark bites with his teeth, dear, scarlet billows start to spread; fancy gloves, though, wears MacHeath, dear, so there’s not a trace of red.

There’s a loan company in NC that has a street address of 666. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Now at least that is truth ‘in advertising’. Your local pay day ‘loan’ for the foolish. If that is good seeping out the door thensome unfortunate did not have the 1000% ‘loan’ payment. Yes, they should go someplace elsewhere; like a bank, which is the same operation but disguises to look clean and honest(?).

You don’t have to go someplace else to sell your plasma for money. It’s all done in house.

I like pawn shops. One in Washington had a very large stuffed shark suspended from the ceiling. Called it the “Pawn Shark”.

Yes, that’s too literal, and also too littoral.

Banks are better but without collateral you can’t get any.

My friendly neighborhood loan shark, Vinnie Goombas, requires collateral – an arm and a leg !
