The only good thing that Jackson did as President was to try (and fail to) abolish the Federal Reserve. Other than that I rate him right up there with obama in the way he trampled on the rights of people. Rot in Hell Andy.

Wherever the most retired NBA players currently play at any given moment is the highest court in the land.

While Leadville has the highest public use airport in the US, At slightly less than 10,000 ft, I doubt they have the highest highschool gym. With as many 14,000+ft elevations as we have there is bound to be a school at a higher altitude.

The Federal Reserve, as we know it, did not exist, yet, during Jackson’s presidency. What he did do was veto the renewal of the charter of the Second Bank of the US – a forerunner of the FedRes. Threw the bankers into a tizzy – they have bad-mouthed him ever since. The ‘Fed’ would not become a legislatively protected cartel until 1913, under Wilson, who said it was ‘the biggest mistake I ever made’.
