Oh, yess! It finally arrived! The XB-719! A tactical flashlight designed for special forces! So powerful it's been banned in several countries! I've been reading about it on the Internet for weeks! I'm so psyched! I can hardly wait til night to try it! Later... All right let's do this! Careful watch your step. Yep. Remember... Keep your protective goggles on at all times... Roger that... Okay ready?... 1... 2... 3... Oh, man! This is freakin' awesome! It's like daytime! It's like... It's.. What happened? Batteries ran out..

I was reading about these, 800 Lumens. A 60 watt bulb is 840 lumens. Sounds like a ripoff to me.

Must really be a piece of crap. My 1,000 lumen from Feit lasts several hours on high and so does my 4,000 lumen rechargeable bike light. Have to admit I was tempted to click over to that ad online. Glad I had the self control.

Bushnell TRKR 1200 Lumens plus red for night vision and blue/UV for blood tracking, aluminum body, runs many hours on 3 D cells. You can pick one up for around $40.

Oh, heck. I guess I’ll just stick to my little Mini-Maglite rip-off from Ace….

I’ve been wondering why they don’t get the little lights from laser pointers, bunch them up together to make a powerful beam.
