I knew the manager of one of the Eveready Battery factories. When a government inspector was due to come he purposely created some minor infractions so the inspector would find them. His theory was these bureaucrats will keep looking till they find something in order to justify their jobs. He just sped up the process to get the inspectors out of his hair.

reminds me of a lady who sued because the warning sign did not have a warning one. Thankfully the Judge had the sense to throw the case out
