My Mom kept her crossword reference books on the shelf so that she’d have to get up every time she wanted to use one.

I’d have to tear out a bathroom wall to do that. Not a pretty thought.

Now he will have to lift a weight (the TV) to move it back where Opal wants it located.

I don’t think that it would be a good idea to throw the remote away. Now a days if you throw the remote, away you wont be able to change channels or turn it on or off.

Impressive that Earl was able to lift that old heavy tv set!
