Yeah, and I love it when my cat drags its butt on the rug, supposedly to scratch an itch, sometimes leaving a stripe. Hilarious! ;-)

What is REALLY funny is when I grab the tip of his little pink tongue and give it a small tug. Not to hurt him but the look of cat indignation is priceless.

Actually, my dad pointed out to me once just how vulnerable a cat is when doing that (think, tongue between teeth while getting “bonked” on top or bottom of head/jaw). Because of this, he found it to be a profound sign of peace, comfort, and trust on the part of the cat. Ever since then, I can’t see that little pink tongue without feeling very, very complimented. Wish I could say the same for if I see it from a person’s face!Lol

I had a cat who would fall asleep with his tongue hanging out. I could play with it and pull it out and twist it (not hard) and he never flinched. lol

Dogs and cats(mostly dogs) drag their rears on the ground because their anal glands get full and they’re trying to express them. You can have this done at the vet when they are bathed, toenails trimmed, etc. They don’t like it and it smells HORRID, but it takes care of the problem.
