There are those who wish to “make America great again” because they don’t understand true greatness.Freedom of speech is just one example. You might lose friends or not get or keep a job for intemperate words, but the government won’t kill or jail you (good thing for me, too).Funny that dt thinks he can restore greatness by suing those who say things he doesn’t like while verbally attacking people rather than ideas or policies.. I enjoy this comic strip but would surely soon share Spook’s cell.

@Argythree“When asked a question, the person under the influence of the serum speaks the truth that the person knows…”.Don’t you mean “literal”?Literature allows variation..Not sure about whether or not it would include the compulsion to answer each and every question, but let us assume there is a test with 10 questions and you know the answer to all ten and you just drank the truth serum..Someone asks you the answer to question four. Even if you have to give that truth, you surely aren’t compelled to answer the other nine. .Also remember you know more than just the answers to that test, you know your name, the names of your friends and/or relatives, who you first kissed, most recently kissed, your social security number, all kinds of things..You wouldn’t live long enough to tell all the truths you know .

There’s some saying about how ‘the truth shall set you free’. Not in this case!

Yes, the Truth shall set you Free, and all that; but you also have to be careful, and use some common sense!

If your wife asks “Do these pants make my butt look fat?” NEVER tell the truth.

If it was a truth serum he should have said, Hey, Big Nose, guess what?
