A nightlight would work. It surprises me that Snoopy would think so negatively… I usually do that only when I watched an exceptionally disturbing movie. It thankfully doesn’t last much though.
When you have insomnia, you always think as Snoopy does. When you have REAL problems, the sun coming up does not help! Oh, well, my glass is half full, since I always fall asleep in the daylight, eventually.
Snoopy is probably the most famous Beagle in the world but he lacks the classic Beagle markings such as a white tip of the tail. I have owned a Beagle in years past. He was a delight. This is what he looked like.Perhaps one of our talented colorists could show us a colorized version of Snoopy.
I had a dog like that. After all the lights were out at night she’d get up and go eat her food. and from time to time at night you’d hear her get up and wander around the house for a bit. And because she was a black dog, if you happened to have to get up for some reason and didn’t turn on the lights so as not to disturb the other people in the house, you might find yourself literally running into her. I miss that dog.
This strip speaks truth. Last night my dog could not sleep due to thunderstorms, therefore I could not sleep either. Had to come out and keep him company.

Snoopy does have to worry about the Red Baron and the cat next door.

I, personally, understand what the dog is saying. Just saying….

I’m feeling a little depressed right now, I can’t imagine what it will be like when it gets dark outside…

When I was a kid I had a Beagle named Belinda. She looked like this picture. My dad gave her to me.
