    But think about it, why should that make a difference? Your job is to maintain law and order and to protect citizens against violence.

    If you could capture your relative without using deadly force, why not the same for anybody else? And if the only way to defend yourself or protect other citizens against a stranger was to use deadly force, why not use it against a relative?

    This of course does not address the difference in personal emotional trauma between the two scenarios.

    I’m wondering just how much Yolanda does know. She may or may not know that Ray Sr is married to Crunchy’s sister Ruth (provided that Rolo Ramji is indeed Ray Sr.).

    Also, she had no way of anticipating way back before Ray was arrested that Ray would become friends with Joe after he got out.

    And then there’s this little conflict of interest about Ray dating Lynn – and I’m wondering if they in fact DID break up on that date in the restaurant. They discussed that maybe they should, but that left a few loopholes.
