Baldo: Dad! Donnie yen is in the next star wars movie! Dad:Oh...and I'm excited? Dad: Oh! And I'm excited! Baldo: Nothing like a few well placed exclamation marks.
There was a time when I was interested in kung fu movies…then Bruce died. My interest was briefly revived when Jackie came along and I still like to see him but it’s just not the same.
Never heard of him before, couldn’t really care less about his inclusion in the next movie…honestly I was very much unimpressed by #7….it was too fast-paced, like they wanted to move from one explosion to the next as quick as they could. And was all of this supposed to happen in a single solar system, or multiple systems? Because the visual effects of this latest “superweapon” sure looked as though all of these planets were in one single area…I mean, the people on one planet could look up and see the explosions on the next planet! Utter garbage, the only thing that made it worth watching was Han & Chewie.
I highly recommend:Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon…and:Hero…you may change your minds about Kung Fu movies. But, as a die hard Star Wars fan, I better not see no judo choppin’ in Rogue One!

Think “Bruce Lee,” “Jet Li,” or even “Jackie Chan.”

Seven Star Wars movies. Only the first two were of any quality. And I’m supposed to get excited about a kung fu star appearing in number eight?!

Awesome Donnie Yen – see Ip Man 1 and Ip Man 2. I haven’t been to a Star Wars movie since the seventies. For Donnie Yen I might make an exception.
