Charlene: Ray, I found this in the glove box of your truck,
Ray: Right, the sketch book, I meant to throw that raggedy old thing away.
These sketches were done by Marc zakharovich Chagall!
Ray: Return it to him he needs more practice.
Wow! This is a very interesting turn!!!! I am looking forward to seeing how it is explained that Ray’s Dad had this sketch book. Very, very, interesting. Chagall lived into the early 1980s I believe, so it may be that Ray’s Dad somehow knew the artist? With Ray’s Dad having passed away, however, I wonder if the story will be able to be revealed…. because with him gone, who would know?
Actually, I tend to agree with Ray. Modern art is a scam. If you don’t like it, Those In The Know will dismiss you as a Philistine, and if you do like it, you (I, anyway) have the feeling they are laughing up their sleeves at you for being so gullible.
Interesting Charlene finds that the same week a missing Caravaggio is possibly found in a Paris attic.Once may be a coincidence; but, given how far in advance these are drawn, twice?? Hmm …Robb, did you delay this a couple days so we wouldn’t get suspicious? ;-)
