    According to my daughter, the month of December takes about 15 years to get to Christmas, while my other daughter suddenly changed from infant to teenager the last time I merely blinked…

    Believe me, that’s a lesson I beganto learn when I was 50 or thereabouts, and that’s so far in the past now, I wish I had half the stamina and coordination I had then! “Disconcerting” is a mild expression for my present feelings on the matter!
