Chesney, you are such a brat. If Annie is grouchy, guess who made her that way.Even though there are other cats there with you Chesney, I think this is all you. I’m surprised you don’t want Annie to leave her purse behind.
Not many comments or pictures today. Usually I see a lot more than this by this time of day.
Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy all the stuff I find here at TC. I’m very new at the Internet and don’t have it at home, so I look at the comics at the library. I only get an hour a day on the computer, so that does not always give me enough time to read all the comments or .to copy all of my favorite pictures, so I have begun just copying entire pages including all the comments so I can look at it all at home later. I went back to January first of this year and so far copied everything from that month. I was reading all the comments last night and want to comment on those comments.
I was surprised at first to see so many comments and pictures posted here that have absolutely nothing to do with that day’s comic strip. I have not seen that in comments from any of the other strips. I don’t often read those comments and don’t add my own. I like it here better. I like the comic strip, but I like your pictures and videos even more and they are the main reason why Ten Cats is the first comic strip I look at each day. I like how you talk about things other than the comics (the weather, problems with moving, foster kitties, etc). People here at Ten Cats seem to be a family. I want to be part of that family! I don’t have great pictures to send all of you, but I sure love seeing what you post! It’s great to be here with other cat lovers. I have a lot of 4 footed furry kids myself. Don’t know how people can live without cats!
Last Rose of Summer, are you sure you weren’t peeking through my window at the cats outside the bathroom door? That is SO like my cat and dogs. LOLWelcome laughingkitty. I also have to get my comics at the library as I do not have internet at home for one reason or another. It usually takes me longer than the stated hour but as long as there is no lineup for the computers, no one seems to mind. But I really wish I could get my computer back at home.Hello everyone. Great comic, pictures and comments today as usual.
I agree. ‘Breaking Cat News’ is wonderful, and so whimsically drawn. More snow here today – can’t believe it’s the end of April. Didn’t stick, though. My cell/mobile phone went missing after I came back from Boston last time. I looked everywhere. As I’m heading back there on Thursday, I decided to get a new phone, so I got my first smartphone yesterday. So what happened? Today I found my old phone!
I enlarged that pic to see if perhaps a cream colored cat (Jellybean) was standing there…but, no, it seems like 2 LILY’S. Just what we need, extra grumpiness. LOL
How odd that earlier today was partly sunny but cooler….then light rain and dreariness. Ah…can’t complain…hot summer will be here soon enough. My guys stayed inside almost all day.-——————————————————————————-Update on my 3 missing tulips. Next door neighbors (3rd floor) told me they saw a woman photographing them and caressing them (I swear) just before they went missing.
OH! and update on my attempts to find some way to appease the city guy/neighbors who complained about our bird feeder – we have built a sort of “chicken coop” around the entire feeder to keep out the pigeons. Doesn’t keep out the squirrels, but we don’t mind. The spaces are big enough so that the mourning doves, blue jays, and cardinals can still get through, although the mourning doves and cardinals are a bit skeptical of this new contraption. I’ve only seen 1 or 2 of the regular 4 mourning doves show up and attempt to figure it out, and I see the cardinals come to the yard (a mr and mrs pair, plus a couple of free-roaming males), but so far I haven’t seen them actually go inside to get to the feeder since the first day when Mrs Cardinal was in there for a while.
There are 2 persistent pigeons who keep coming and circling the “coop”, pecking here & there around it, but it successfully keeps them out, and we no longer get a mini-flock. Hopefully it will satisfy the guy from the city. It’s rather ghastly to look at, but can’t be helped. Maybe we’ll try to remake it one of these days to make it prettier, not sure. I just love that it hasn’t deterred the nice goldfinches, house finches, downy woodpecker, tree sparrows, etc. So nice to watch them, and it seems to have slowed down the house sparrows (who typically show up in droves and eat out the entire feeder-full of food in less than a day).
The red roses have somehow dropped seeds and we now have 4 or 5 new bushes. And the roses are bigger than ever. I just took my yearly pictures of the entire back yard and south side of the house. WOW ! Everything is huge and lush. Brad really does a great job of taking care of everything. The potted flowers have bloomed. We got 2 new rose trees yesterday that will go in the big ceramic pots we got.
:Laughingkitty, I should have mentioned that I, too sew kitty mats for Queen, they are used as a fund raiser in Utah. and if you adopt a kitty from her local PetCo (and sometimes a puppy, and you ask nicely) you get a mat to take home.I live in Camas Wa.My own Late Great Toshie died 8 years ago, and no new kitty has come to take her place, Sigh

Chesney, it might be better for you to go, and maybe Lily. Leave the rest to be fed and pampered.

Gweedo, fun song. esp ""I wouldn’t trust a person like me if I were you" Reminds me of “I couldn’t get High” by the Fugs.

By the way, what does “refresh comments” mean? I’ve clicked on it before and never noticed it doing anything. Is it supposed to do something?
