Is Alice Otterloop the toddler form of Pippi Longstocking?

Ha!!! Sounds like my son when he goes next door to play with his friends. He leaves the house with a handful….ummm…armful of toys and then has to find every one of them, slowly, when I come to pick him up.

Hurry up, Alice – Petey wants to get back to the adventures of Little Neuro.

Tell my grand daughter to go brush her teeth or make her bed or etc etc… She will start out by going in the opposite direction and then take the longest route possible, stopping along the way to ask questions, play with something, ask for a hug, tell you a story, etc etc etc…you have to say to her “What did I tell you to do?” in a very firm voice (more than once sometimes) before she will slowly go do what she was told to do. She is 5. :-)

Somehow, I don’t think these two are going to make it home in time for dinner … and Petey is probably going to get a sunburn after spending so much time outdoors.

No stalling. Come home now, shoes and socks or not!
