Helluva party, Snuffy Smith, Mary Worth, Bill….. Who else was there partying on Mulholland Drive? Chuck and the Peanuts gang, the Disney clan, Blondie on a night away from Dagwood, the Wizard of Id handing out psychodelics??

4 hours, 44 minutes @ 143 mph. Not too terribly shoddy when stoned. Jimmy Dean did not last near that long.

Does no one have empathy for poor ole Bill. What difference does it make if it was a cactus, a tree, or a bull frog? Our Bill is gone.

Little James Dean, up on the screen

    Wond’rin’ who he might be

Along came a Spyder and picked up a rider

And took him down the road to eternity

James Dean, James Dean, you bought it sight unseen

You were too fast to live, too young to die, bye-bye

The sordid life and death of Bill the Cat (and here’s the key) as told by Bob Woodward, desperately seeking recognition and another Pulitzer (I assume everyone smart enough to be here knows that Pulitzers are self-nominated by the entity/newspaper seeking to win, and that some papers at some times have deliberately refrained from nominating).

No cactus on earth (wherever) can stop the terrible force of nature that is Bill the Cat, or at least the brain of Bill….
