Well it was already up to 40$ a ticket in the 80s when this was made
$40 would be around $100 today.
Bought a single second row center for $6 for the Alice Cooper Billion Dollar Babies tour.
Then Ticketmaster got involved…

Seeing all these band names suddenly reminded me of a band I haven’t thought of in many years, Spooky Tooth. I never saw them live, but liked their music.
I remember $5 for lawn seats to Neil Diamond in 1975….in Perth WA….dang that was a good concert and a LONG time ago
