The site owner doesn’t need a good reason to delete links. :-( It’s their site, so they can do what they want. Several commenters have successfully been able to get around this arbitrary restriction by capitalizing the .com (.Com), or other extensions in that way. The nanny bot algorithms haven’t figured that out yet, so the link will appear in the comments.
