I can’t stand the the thought of being in a box for eternity.

Most if all states will not allow a body to be directly buried. However, some will allow a wood box and no embalming for interment.Personally, I want to be cremated because it is a whole heck of a lot cheaper…..and lighter.(tee hee)

Just because a body is cremated doesn’t mean the ashes are scattered. My parents, in-laws and maternal grandparents are all in a columbarium of one sort or another.

My Mother’s ashes are buried in the family plot. A lot easier to dig a hole 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 feet. Just use a well digging auger. Really, the headstone takes up more space. On a pervert note, I friend I know wants his ashed mixed in the material used to make dildos!

I want to be left out for the birds, but don’t know where that can be done.

Try the Body Farm. Then you’ll be useful as well as natural.

You WILL biodegrade.I made a comment to my dermatologist the other day about with all the preservatives in our food today that we should never rot. He told me he had read in some study that actually does take 10-20% longer for us to decompose now.

It is an environmental hazard to scatter cremated ashes. Not only is it illegal, but the bone fragments are dangerous tor birds and fish.
