i don’t get what drain plugs have to do with cars

They usually hold liquids in your car, like oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, things like that.

Some time ago, my brother changed the oil on my sister’s car at home. She drove to work and at end of shift she saw a puddle under her car. A fellow worker checked and yep! Brother had forgotten to replace the plug!! Needless to say, he never changed her oil again… or anyone else in the family!

I did that once. I was changing oil in my driveway, and a neighbor brought my attention to the thick stream of oil flowing out from underneath the engine. I zipped underneath and screwed in the plug. And I haven’t changed my own oil since.

It’s a comment on how people are today! FORGETFUL!!!

Wow! In a pinch for a misplaced drain plug, a tampon will work.

I haven’t changed the oil, or any fluids for that matter, in any car I owned for decades!

That is what the dealer service department is for…

And have a gay old time! Yabba, Dabba, Doo!
