I just realized that if I weighed 600 pounds and lost 473, I’d weigh only 127 pounds. Too little for a person of my height. Good math. I hope there’s some multiplication next. Multiplication is always fun. There’s even a (very old) song about it!
No. The answer is 278, though 378 is represented as correct. This being the beginning of the New Age, and thus requiring a new Avatar, Carrying The One is significant.
A phony address, you think? Such a deal!! Dialing for dollars, out of a phone book. Our guy’s name was Maury Miller. Still remember, and waiting to win $60.00. Those darn prankster’s would phone our home. An all day sucker gag.
I object, you honor! The Pink Princess phone is very ’70s, I contend, while the illustrated ensemble (left) looks more ’50s! The strip is sending mixed messages! Lacking the “minus” sign, indeed, I first tried to add the numbers, but 1073 was clearly not 127. I was confused, your honor!
The coffee shop was mostly empty. I ordered a plain black coffee from a guy wearing ear gauges and a paper hat that said “Java World”. I sat down to watch the alley through a hole in the crossword section of a paper from a coin-op box just inside the door. Whoever the new OOT dame was, she was new to The Splatter. Lucky girl. Most travelers ended up sucking vacuum or otherwise inconvenienced by spatial anomalies. I’d taken her for one of Godreau’s Syners at first, but she was solid through the center, and had her own future tech in hand. Godreau had never seen an eye helmet like that. They hadn’t been invented in his future. No. This was something else, something new.

Some, when donated, were listed at up to $50 for tax purposes. We’re only saying they were worth $30 because we know better.
