I figured they still had a VCR. I still have one……It’s under my DVD. I haven’t used it in years, but it’s there if I need it. Tapes should be converted to disc soon because the tape is getting brittle and the signal is getting scattered……

Men and women just don’t get each other re: the porn thing.

I would get a DVR to replace my VCR but now Suddenlink says they don’t have the connectors for my old TV anymore, I have to have a TV with HDMI connectors. Considering how littler there is to watch, I will keep going with what I have.

I don’t get it. In the past several weeks (going back to mid-April or so), I only counted 3 instances where Janis was affectionate to Arlo (in the form of a hug or kiss or whatever). There were several more strips where she seemed distant or even dismayed at Arlo. She offered more joy when thinking about or discussing Vince. One strip in April showed Janis coming to bed in a t-shirt that was too big for her, and it wasn’t Arlo’s… Am I the only one thinking that Janis ‘going in a different direction’ than Arlo? Arlo tries and Janis almost seems to reject him. What’s going on? they have a past history of having a healthy physical relationship and a strong love for one another, but lately, Janis seems almost unhappy when it comes to Arlo…

Perhaps you might consider what sort of impression could be gained by someone viewing selected snapshots of your life that were selected by someone else who had to select moments that were not too boring and not too lewd and who had to meet a deadline each day to select one and depict it. I’m assuming, of course, that your life isn’t unbearably uneventful and uninteresting.

The expressions in panel three show the difference in perception by the sexes. Notice where Arlo’s hand is.

I have no idea why Janis is upset, and I am female.

No idea what is wrong with Janis the past few weeks!

It could be that women are judged more harshly as they age, while men think that they’ll extremely attractive even when the let themselves go — and describe themselves as “athletic and toned” when there isn’t a ghost of a chance that’s accurate.

NG49… that is an interesting idea…. she is crying simply about the memory and is not upset. I can say that I never would have thought of that idea, but you very well could be right.For me, it did not read that way, though, because of the “Men!” comment at the end.

That’s the difference in the way men and women think. women tie their emotions to physical things and the story behind it. men think of the visual and physical stimulation of the acts and the way it felt to them at the time.
