    @Phaze58 Took me a minute to figure out, “put a foot wrong”. He doesn’t misstep. Got it. Can’t put a foot wrong when you don’t put a foot anywhere!

    once when I was in the Navy we got a pay raise that resulted in less pay each check all because of taxes.

    I just got the first pay raise in nearly 10 years. I should be happy but I too am worried about a tax increase.

    My understanding is that Rita ‘s metric for determining performance is how many mistakes the employee makes in their work. Since Ed basically doesn’t do any work in the first place, he doesn’t make any mistakes. That could well be the same reason that Wally manages to be as successful as he is at the company in the “Dilbert”.
