How does a man who sleeps most of the day at work gt a raise?

Bcoz he doesn’t put a foot wrong ,more importantly he doesn’t upset the boss

My understanding is that Rita ‘s metric for determining performance is how many mistakes the employee makes in their work. Since Ed basically doesn’t do any work in the first place, he doesn’t make any mistakes. That could well be the same reason that Wally manages to be as successful as he is at the company in the “Dilbert”.
