Let me guess: form a superhero squadron.

Seriously kid, there is more to summer than just playing videogames. I’m a heavy gamer myself, but even I take the time to be outside and do other creative things with my time.

Next they should find an adult screaming for help because she doesn’t have her cellphone. That’s every bit as bad as a kid panicking because he doesn’t have a videogame.

The whole reason why kids are so addicted to videogames these days is because they’re just imitating adults who are addicted to their phones.

I ain’t making this up. I was at my neighbors yestereday. The Dad and I were sitting on the patio. He kept answering texts from his daughter. I didn’t think anything of it, until she opened the kitchen door and was every bit 10 feet away. She walked out on the patio, still texting her Dad and he was texting her back. Talking distance? They were within whispering distance.

@Old Texan75:That reminds me a lot of the movie WALL-E. It got that future surprisingly well. It’s such a pity we would choose to interact interact online rather than in person.

I’m just glad this strip is finally talking about video games. I still can’t believe it skipped the entire PS3/ Xbox 360/ Wii U generation.
